The Rt, Hon Papa Emeruka, the Deputy Prime Minister for the Diaspora -Iteso was honored for his exceptional contribution to Ateker. Teso Education Fund, an International NGO handed him a plaque as a symbol of the honor. He received his award from the Ugandan UK community for promoting Iteso and African culture in the UK. The award was handed over on behalf of the leadership of the UK Ugandan Community by Dr Patrick Igulot.
